Patrice Motsepe is the new President of the Confederation of African Football. Motsepe was elected unopposed at today’s elections, in Rabat Morocco.
His election makes him not just the first South African, but the first Southern African, to lead African football’s governing body.
The Billionaire businessman takes over a dysfunctional organisation, where corruption and disorganisation have often reared their heads.
