Battling the HIV stigma

Niqita Pieterse contracted HIV after she was raped.

She’s been battling not only the virus, but also the stigma around her positive status, for 18 years.

But Pieterse refuses to be just another statistic and has taken it upon herself to be a voice for others living with HIV.
