Booster shots once a year could become the norm

The SA Medical Association is feverishly advocating to get COVID-19 booster shots for health workers.

Last week it released data showing that a booster shot will help strengthen our immunity against the virus.

But what about the rest of us and the role of COVID-19 vaccines going forward?

According to the South African Medical Association's Chairperson Angelique Coetzee, the likelihood of citizens getting an annual booster is high.
