Businesses hit by electricity price hike

Last year, the North Gauteng High Court  granted Eskom the permission to increase the cost of electricity.

Users supplied directly by Eskom, will be paying nearly 16 percent more for electricity,

despite many still battling to recover from being financially hit by COVID-19.

Our reporter Riante Naidoo caught up with a business owner in Johannesburg who shared how she’s been affected by the price hike.
