Calls for Mkhize to step aside

There are now growing calls for Health Minister Zweli Mkhize to step aside because of the contract he admits was irregular.

The Democratic Alliance has joined that chorus and has also called on President Cyril Ramaphosa to give an update on who will be criminally chargedand held accountable. DA MP Siviwe Gwarube serves on the health portfolio committee and joined us to discuss this matter today.

She says it’s important that the Special Investigative Unit be allowed to do its work without political interference.
