Celebrating the life of Victoria Mxenge

Today, 35 years ago, anti-apartheid activist Victoria Mxenge was laid to rest after she was brutally murdered.

Mxenge was a nurse and midwife before becoming an attorney in 1981.

Her death came as massive shock and led to much criticism of the apartheid system.
