Councillor: Crosby power issues were reported

It’s not yet clear but bad service delivery may just be to blame for the death of a Joburg couple.

Newlyweds, Zaheer and Nabeelah Sarang, were found dead in the shower after a suspected electrocution in their Crosby home yesterday.

A post-mortem is still being conducted.

It’s reported that other residents had experienced similar problems.

Councillor for the area Alex Christians says the deceased man’s mother had lodged a complaint with his office but he says sadly the problem was never resolved.
