Durban proposes ice rink morgue for COVID-19

Should the country be hard hit by COVID-19, the eThekwini Municipality will look into using the Durban Ice Arena as a makeshift mortuary.

This is one of the proposals put forward in a municipal report,

but those in the funeral industry are doubting the City’s ability, to deal with a surge in coronavirus cases.
