E Cape health dept sued over alleged botched op

A 36-year-old Mthatha woman is suing the Eastern Cape Health Department for allegedly botching her hip replacement operation.

Nonkululeko Buzwayo had the operation in 2007 and says since then her life hasn’t been the same.

It’s been 14 years since she had the operation and Buzwayo says she’s still experiencing complications as a result of the surgery.
