Eastern Cape health officials are bracing themselves for the possibility of a spike in COVID-19 cases.
The coastal province is expecting an influx of out of town visitors as the festive season approaches despite growing COVID-19 infections.
Meanwhile, district medical experts have gone into emergency mode to try and contain the virus.
