E Cape residents plead for basic healthcare

Residents from an Eastern Cape village say government has failed them.

Villagers from Lurwayizo and five other villages in Willowvale built their own clinic as all the existing healthcare facilities are kilometres away.

They say provincial health authorities had no problem with arranging a grand opening for the clinic in 2019 but failed to keep their promise of providing the community with basic healthcare services.
