EC village runs own wi-fi telecommunications network

Mankosi Village in the Eastern Cape, in partnership with the University of the Western Cape, has developed its own community-owned internet service provider called Zenzeleni Networks.

The wi-fi telecommunications network is owned and ran by the community.
