‘Eskom is killing my wife’

A Johannesburg family says Eskom’s to blame for their mother’s deteriorating health. 

Patricia Spooner has a terminal lung disease and is dependent on an oxygen machine at all times, which requires electricity. 

But, faulty transformers often leaves them powerless for hours, which has impacted Patricia’s health.
