The fight for free education

Almost six years after the Fees Must Fall movement began in 2015, 

the country now looks to be firmly within the latest iteration of the movement: Fees Must Fall 2021.

The killing of Mthokozisi Ntumba this week at the hands of police, has only added fuel to the fire.

With the National Student Financial Aid Scheme, facing a shortfall of billions of rand in funding,

where are we really in the ongoing fight for free tertiary education.
