The formation of the Rivonia Circle

It is sometimes easy to believe that South Africa is doomed to a death spiral with many more years of rising costs, unemployment figures and the same old platitudes and promises from politicians.

If our country really wants to see change we need to find new solutions to old problems and new leaders.

That’s the view of former Business Day editor Songezo Zibi.

He is the Chairperson of a new think tank called the Rivonia Circle, which he says is a response to our deepening national crisis.
