Gauteng COVID-19 cases on the rise

The Gauteng province has seen a remarkable increase in the number of positive COVID-19 infections this past week. 

So far, the province has nearly 46 000 active cases. 

There are growing concerns that Gauteng may soon overtake the Western Cape as the country’s epicentre.
