George Bizos dies

Human rights lawyer and anti-apartheid activist George Bizos has died.

He was 92 years old.

He made his name as a human rights lawyer under apartheid, representing political activists, including the Rivonia Trialists.

Among them Nelson Mandela, Ahmed Kathrada, Dennis Goldberg, and Andrew Mlangeni, who died a few weeks ago.

Advocate Norman Arendse recounted his fond memories of Bizos.
