Giving the poor access to data and ICT

If there's one thing that the lockdown has shown us, it's the importance of access to data and the digital world.

But here in South Africa, we face what many call the ‘poverty premium’.

The term refers to the difference in how much the wealthy and the poor spend on data.

Research ICT Africa says there are opportunities to equal the playing field and give access to the poor.
