Honeydew residents want jobs and electricity

Eskom might have a new CEO, but that doesn’t mean South Africans are out of the woods just yet. In an effort to bring greater power stability and shorten the duration of possible power outages, City Power is building a brand new substation in Honeydew, west of Johannesburg.
But while locals welcome the project, they want more than just reliable electricity supply.
