‘Indian variant likely to reach SA’

A second wave of COVID-19 is currently crippling India. 

The country’s capital, New Delhi, has reported one COVID-19 related death every four minutes in the past week. 

Several countries are desperately trying to get critical aid into India. 

Leading epidemiologist Professor Salim Abdool Karim says the situation in India should serve as a warning to South Africa.
