Joburg Mayor Geoff Makhubo dies

Condolences continue to pour in for Johannesburg Mayor Geoff Makhubo who has died at the age of 53.

Makhubo died of COVID-19 related complications. He was just recently admitted to hospital

after testing positive for the virus. To chat to us more on the passing of Geoff Makhubo

we spoke up with one of his predecessors Herman Mashaba

who described the news as absolutely devastating and unfortunate.
