South Africa is considering vaccine passports not mandatory vaccinations. It’s an important distinction to make. 

A passport can be used to access facilities, institutions and events. It will also allow the vaccinated greater freedom of movement. While companies like Discovery has decided to enforce its own mandates.

What does the law say about a company's right to mandate or to restrict access to the unvaccinated?

Public law expert Professor Cathy Powell earlier answered some of these questions and says she foresee some legal challenges going forward.
