KSD mayor’s Women of Excellence not so happy

Last month the King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality launched the Mayor’s Women of Excellence initiative to celebrate exceptional women from the area.

But one of the woman recognised for her hard work is accusing the municipality of undermining the disabled community. Nomaza Nkohla opened the area’s only autism centre for children seven years ago.

She says while she is grateful to be praised for her efforts she expected more than a bottle of non-alcoholic wine and a box of chocolates from the municipality.
