KZN’s cycle of political killings

South Africa is headed down a slippery slope if political violence continues to escalate.

That’s according to one expert in the wake of a series of political killings in the run up to the election.

KwaZulu-Natal appears to the hardest hit province and a task team has been set up to establish the root cause of the violence.

Violence monitor Mary de Haas says the implications of political killings are serious.
