Lockdown leads to fewer trauma cases
While the lockdown has negatively impacted almost every sector of society in South Africa,
the Groote Schuur Hospital's trauma unit is experiencing the opposite effect.
The hospital usually sees around 1 100 patients a month,
but they have reported a reduction in the number of trauma cases since the lockdown started.
