Making an impact with every step

Two years ago students from the University of Pretoria started the Walk For Access initiative.

The group managed to raise hundreds of thousands of rand to assist students gain access to university, by walking to various destinations around the country. This time around the group decided to tackle the long road from Durban to Pretoria, all in the name of awareness around the challenges students face.

They started their journey on May 4th and arrived at their destination today. Along the journey they targeted schools to raise hope for future tertiary education while also asking for donations. To discuss this initiative we caught up with one of the founders of the Walk 4 Success initiative Immanuel Landman.
