Matie medical students pitch in to fight coronavirus

Universities along with other institutions were closed early due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But, instead of going home hundreds of medical and health sciences students,

from Stellenbosch University's Tygerberg Campus decided to stay and help fight the coronavirus outbreak.

Abdul-Mutakabir Aziz, a 4th year Medical Student at the university is also volunteering his time.

He spoke to Melanie Rice about this initiative.
