Matric results announced

Moeketsi Letseka, a professor of Philosophy of Education at Unisa says the matric pass rate of 76.2% was expected,

given the trying circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga announced the results on Monday.

The pass rate is down, by just over 5% compared to the previous year.

Letseka who joined us shortly after the announcement says the pass rate is commendable.
