More than 1 000 confirmed COVID-19 cases in SA

On Day 1 of the national lockdown, citizens awoke to the news that Covid-19 claimed its first two lives in South Africa. The women, aged 48 and 28, were both from Cape Town. The total number of confirmed infections has now reached more then 1000. etv news and sport spoke to Western Cape premier, Alan Winde, for the latest on the tragic deaths.
