Mother nabbed for selling atchar speaks out

A Soweto mother who was arrested for selling atchar, without a permit, has spoken out about the ordeal.

Footage of the 53-year-old Thandi Thabede’s arrest nearly two weeks ago caused outrage online.

Many South Africans came to her aid with donations and she was later released on a warning.
