Muslims medical professionals working during Ramadaan
As the holiest month in the Muslim calendar is set to begin, Muslims from across the world, are preparing to fast.
In the UK, however, the National Health Service consulted religious leaders and set guidelines,
which will exempt some health workers, working on the frontlines
of the COVID-19 pandemic, from fasting over this month.
With Ramadaan starting tomorrow in South Africa
what does this mean for our own Muslim healthcare workers?
The Chair of the Islamic Medical Association, Dr. Riaz Ismail, shared his thoughts on the matter.
