No counselling yet for Julies family
The deputy minister of Social Development, Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu, says she’s shocked by
the news that the family of Down Syndrome teen, Nathaniel Julies, is yet to receive any counselling,
five months after he was killed. Nathaniel’s mother, Bridgette Harris, reached out to etv news and sport recently,
worried that they could soon be kicked out of their home as they no longer receive the R2000 disability grant they got when Nathaniel was alive.
The Minister joined us to answer some hard questions.
