No room for racism

Racism cannot be separated from the dire socio-economic conditions of black South Africans.

That’s the word of One South Africa Movement's Mudzuli Rakhivhane who was at the centre of a fallout over perceived racism by the controversial Gareth Cliff.

Rakhivhane was a guest on Cliff’s show in which her lived reality as a black woman was dismissed.

Cliff labelled her experience with racism as ‘completely unimportant’ and his remarks has raised the ire of South Africans.

Rakhivhane says Cliff’s response shows a lack of understanding of structural racism.
