NPA on Zuma trial: ‘We are ready’

The National Prosecuting Authority says it’s not deterred by the latest hitch in the former president's corruption trial.

Jacob Zuma’s defence lawyers have thrown in the towel a month before his trial was due to start.

While attorney, Eric Mabuza has declined to give reasons why he’s withdrawn from the case,

critics say it’s just another delaying tactic by Zuma. NPA spokesperson, Sipho Ngwema refused to speculate on the matter.
