Over 600 SABC workers reach the end of the road

Over 600 workers served their last day at the public broadcaster on Wednesday.

The Broadcasting, Electronic, Media and Allied Workers Union, says it’s not happy with the outcome of the broadcaster’s retrenchment process, and

said it had a meeting with the SABC. For an update on what happened at that meeting, we spoke to Bemawu's president, Hannes Du Buisson.

He says the broadcaster has lost a lot of skilled individuals.
