Pandemic burden rests on unvaccinated

The burden of the Covid-19 pandemic now rests on the unvaccinated. In the Western Cape, that’s more than 2.2 million eligible adults.

Early indicators suggest the province is teetering on the exit of its third wave peak. But faces a devastating fourth surge if vaccinations don’t increase dramatically.
