Panyaza Lesufi embroiled in yet another scandal

Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi has once again found himself in hot water.

City Press is reporting that Lesufi was heard in a voice recording saying his people must be empowered in tender-related matters.

The discussion allegedly happened during a secret meeting in Soshanguve north of Pretoria in May last year.

However, Lesufi denies the meeting was secret and claims that there are forces out to tarnish his name.

His department’s spokesperson Steve Mabona, joined us on Monday to clarify the matter.
