Pfizer vaccine’s protection wanes over time

A new study released this week suggests that the effectiveness of Pfizer-BioNTech’s coronavirus vaccine drops by nearly half after six months.

While this may seem very concerning data shows that it’s still highly effective in preventing severe disease and hospitalisation which is what experts are most concerned with.
