President Ramaphosa visits the Western Cape

President Cyril Ramaphosa provided some insight into the COVID-19 situation in the Western Cape.

The province is the country’s COVID-19 epicentre at the moment,

and it’s already foreseeing challenges with available beds, test kits and a shortage of medical staff, as it prepares for its peak.

His official visit comes after Health Minister Zweli Mkhize assessed the province’s COVID-19 response earlier this week.
