President says coronavirus will most likely reach our shores, sooner rather than later

President Cyril Ramaphosa has been speaking about the effect of the coronavirus. He met with journalists in Cape Town on Tuesday. Ramaphosa says the disease is causing havoc on global economies and will disrupt travel. The president has admitted that the virus is likely to make its way to our shores, sooner rather than later. The Health Department says 164 South Africans have been tested for the coronavirus. But all the results were negative. As of today, there are no confirmed cases in the country. Meanwhile Dr Brett Singh, a South African doctor working in a clinic in Wenzhou, China, has given an account of what some of the real concerns are, surrounding the coronavirus. He says he has seen how some containment measures are helping to decrease the number of cases. Riante Naidoo spoke to Dr Singh.
