Pressure mounts on hospitality industry

Government’s had its hands full trying to balance lives and livelihoods since the COVID-19 pandemic hit. 

With hospitals filled to capacity in Gauteng and cases rising nationwide, the country was placed on alert level four on Sunday night. 

No alcohol will be sold, all social gatherings have been banned, and patrons will not be allowed to frequent restaurants and bars. 

But many in the hospitality sector say this may be the final straw for them.
