The real blades of glory

Two Paralympic gold medals in Tokyo, one silver in Rio in 2016 and two world para-athletics championship medals all before the age of 20.

While it may sound like an impossible task to you and I impossible is nothing when we’re talking about Ntando Mahlangu.

The 19-year-old blade runner flew the South African flag high in Tokyo and deservedly received a hero’s welcome when he arrived home this week.
