Residents demand Eskom restore their power

A heavy police presence in Diepkloof forced residents to abandon their protest action on Thursday  while they remain off the grid.

The residents have been protesting Eskom’s decision to disconnect their power supply due to non-payment.

They have been without power for two weeks now.
