SA tourism hails removal from UK red list

South Africa's tourism sector has welcomed South Africa's removal from the UK red list for travel and hopes this leads to an influx of tourists.

The removal from the list kicks in on Monday and means South Africans who travel to the UK will not need to quarantine for a 10-day period at a state-designated hotel.

CEO of the Tourism Business Council of South Africa, Tshifhiwa Tshivhengwa says this benefits those travelling to Mzansi too.
