Saapa: No to selling wine at filling stations
Soon you could be filling up on fuel while also stocking up on wine.
A BP petrol station in Johannesburg has become the first to start selling alcohol after the petroleum company was granted a liquor licence in June.
But there’s some pushback.
Last week the Southern African Alcohol Policy Alliance submitted a memorandum to BP objecting to the sale of alcohol at filling stations.
