Safety in crime hotspots

It's no secret that heading into crime hotspots or so-called 'red zones' around the country is no walk in the park.

Journalists who need to cover stories in informal settlements and emergency services staff who need to help patients in need have been harassed and in some instances have been robbed of their equipment.

The South African National Editors’ Forum's Executive Director Reggy Moalusi says it’s a very big concern for them.
