SANDF guarding Cape taxi routes
The two month shutdown of volatile taxi routes in the Western Cape starts today.
Provincial transport bosses were compelled to close operations between Bellville and Paarl amid ongoing industry violence.
Since the start of the year at least 83 people including commuters have been caught in the crossfire.
Additional military deployment has been called in as backup.
