SA's MeerKAT Telescope makes big find

Twenty galaxies have been unearthed by South Africa's MeerKAT telescope.

It’s believed the group of galaxies are among the most neutral hydrogen gas-rich groups to be discovered so far and astronomers have expressed how rare a find this is.

Master of Science Student at the University of Pretoria Shilpa Ranchod joined us to give us more detail on this discovery. She says this is just a testament to how amazing this telescope is.
