Business leaders and the local tourism industry say a two week wait to review South Africa’s status on the UK's COVID-19 travel red list is too long.

South Africa remains on the UK’s travel advisory list amid fears of the Beta variant driving up infections.

But local health experts say this decision isn't backed up by the science.
