Senekal accused out on bail

The man arrested in connection with the violent protests in Senekal earlier this month, has been granted bail.

Andre Pienaar was arrested two weeks ago, after a group of people damaged state property and set a police van alight.

They were protesting against the killing of farm manager Brendin Horner.

Meanwhile, a second suspect has been arrested, in connection with the unrest.
